The highlight of the evening was the Christmas musical, ‘A Journey of Hope’: Burning Bush to Bethlehem’s Star, presented by students from Kindergarten to Std XII. Through a series of scenes, the congregation was transported from the wilderness of Horeb to Pharaoh’s palace, witnessing the mighty hand of God through the Ten Plagues, the first Passover, and the Exodus of Israel. These events gradually leading to the core significance of the greatest deliverance of all—the birth of Christ.
The nativity scene, filled with angels, shepherds, and wise men, rekindled faith and served as a reminder that in every season of life, God’s plan is one of hope, redemption, and everlasting joy. The atmosphere was further energised by the electrifying rendition of ‘Carol of the Bells’ by the school choir. A moment of quiet reflection with the candles lit followed as the congregation joined in singing ‘Silent Night’, conveying a timeless message of peace and humility.
The programme concluded with the closing prayer by Rev. Christopher Samuel, Secretary, Karnataka Central Diocese, followed by the benediction pronounced by Rt. Rev. Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar.
