The Kindergarten Annual Sports Day was held on 30th October 2025 at 9:00 a.m. on the school grounds. The day began with the Principal, Mrs. Christy Priyadarshini F., Chief Guest, Dr. Preethy T., an alumna, international swimmer, and winner of two university gold medals in Dentistry, and dignitaries walking to the sports field, accompanied by the school band and the Kindergarten escorts.
Rev. Theodore Williams, Assistant Secretary of the CSI Karnataka Central Diocese, Vice Chairman of the Board of Management, opened the day with a word of prayer. The event then commenced with an opening ceremony by the children, who were dressed as fairy-tale characters and arrived on a beautifully decorated chariot. This was followed by March Past, where the Chief Guest, Dr. Preethy T., took the salute.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Preethy, then lit the sports torch, and the captains took a ceremonial lap around the field. The Games Captain then ignited the main sports flame, after which the Chief Guest officially declared the Sports Meet open. The day’s events began with the interschool relay, followed by a variety of flat races, novelty races, and lovely and colourful drills that brought excitement to the field. The LKG children
presented a beautiful and delightful umbrella drill, while the UKG children performed a vibrant
ribbon drill, both earning much applause from the audience.
After each event, the children proudly received their medals, celebrating their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The meet concluded with the closing March Past and the distribution of overall trophies. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by the School Vice-Captain of Games, and the event closed with a prayer by Rev. Christy Gyanadasan, Chairman, Civil Area, CSI Karnataka Central Diocese, Member of the Board of Management. It was indeed a memorable and joy-filled day.
